The founding partner of Associated Dermatologists and a clinical instructor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Ronald D. Kerwin started as a solo practitioner in 1981 in West Bloomfield.
He received his M.D. degree from Wayne State University after earning his undergraduate degree from Oakland University. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital, he finished a residency in dermatology at the Wayne State Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Kerwin is on the staff at both Detroit Riverview Hospital and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. He participates in the training of numerous student and resident physicians who rotate through the Associated Dermatologists offices yearly.
He has been named a “Top Doc” by Hour Magazine every year from 2011 to 2020.
Dr. Kerwin lives in West Bloomfield with his wife, Cheryl. He has four children and seven grandchildren.
