Dermatologist Michael A. Dorman, MD, has been a partner with Ronald D. Kerwin, MD, at Associated Dermatologists since 1993. Dr. Dorman is available for appointments at the Atrium Medical Center in West Bloomfield, and the Keystone Medical Center in Novi, Michigan.
Dr. Dorman received his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He then completed an internal medicine residency at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, also in New York City. He received his dermatology training at the Wayne State University Department of Dermatology, where he served as chief resident in dermatology in his final year. Dr. Dorman is board certified in dermatology and has a special interest in general medical, surgical, and pediatric dermatology.
He is a past president of the Michigan Dermatological Society, a current member of the Board of Directors, and chairman of the Third Party Payor Committee. Dr. Dorman is the section chief of the Department of Dermatology at Detroit Medical Center Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, and he is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital as well as St. John Providence Hospital. He is a clinical instructor of dermatology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Dorman has been voted among the “Top Docs” in Hour Magazine from 2005-2020.
He lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife, Norma, and their four children: Hillary, Tedi, Hershel, and Pearl.
