As an Associated Dermatologists patient, you can trust that all of the resources needed for your treatment are available in-house.
As a result of our years of experience, we are skilled at identifying skin growths that may be of concern. If our physicians recognize abnormal, irritated, or concerning lesions during your skin care examination, they can take a small sample of the affected area, known as a biopsy.
Our award-winning, respected physicians have a keen ability to recognize these abnormalities. By identifying areas of concern early, your prognosis can be greatly improved. We follow strict quality standards for safe and effective processes for our patients, so you can feel secure in our hands.
After the biopsy, the skin sample will be processed in our College of American Pathologists’ accredited pathology laboratory, a designation that we take pride in. Afterward, the sample will be examined by our board-certified pathologist/dermatopathologist. If skin cancer is discovered, our highly dedicated and compassionate team of physicians can work with you to develop the best treatment path for your success.
