Dr. Dayoung Ko graduated her undergraduate studies with distinction in Biology and Psychology at Duke University and also completed her medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her intern year at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Ko practices general adult and pediatric dermatology as well as surgical dermatology including skin cancer treatments, earlobe repairs, cyst removals, and more. She has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology including botox for fine lines/wrinkles and hyperhidrosis, dermal fillers for volume restoration and facial contouring, and skin rejuvenation with microneedling, chemical peels, and lasers. Additionally, she especially loves to tailor cosmetic treatment plans based on skin type, skin quality, ethnicity, age, and ones personal beauty standard.
She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and their sweet mini goldendoodle, Astor. She loves food, fashion, interior design, traveling, and is learning to golf.
