Dr. Taylor Adlam grew up in the small town of Cadillac in northern Michigan. She attended medical school at Wayne State University, where she was elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Adlam continued her education in metro Detroit completing her internship at Beaumont Hospital followed by dermatology residency at Wayne State University, serving as chief resident in her final year. During medical school and residency, Dr. Adlam received multiple awards for research and academic excellence.
Dr. Adlam practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has received specialized training to treat a wide variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, skin cancer) in both children and adults. Her particular areas of interest include hyperhidrosis, pediatric dermatology, and social media trends in dermatology.
While she enjoys all aspects of dermatology, she finds the most meaning in connecting with her patients and creating personalized treatment approaches. She is committed to treating all her patients with kindness and respect, so they feel comfortable and heard.
Dr. Adlam enjoys trying new fitness classes and is currently embracing yoga. She also likes historical fiction, trying new restaurants with her partner, and spending time up north with her family.
